Keith is an artist specialising in commissions using his design engineering background and CAD skills to produce a bespoke piece for each client. Drawing influence from nature, classic design, Victorian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods and late 19th century science fiction.

The forge is located at Rose Narrowboats near Rugby in Warwickshire and hosts the ancient art of blacksmithing on a traditional hand cranked forge.

The forge burns locally sourced charcoal supplied by Hugh and Carolyn of Hazel Woodland Products using ash, hazel, oak and field maple harvested from their woodland.

The hand cranked bellows makes for an extremely controllable fire and combined with the choice of fuel minimises environmental impact There is also very little background noise generated but this is somewhat offset by the ring of the hammer on the anvil!

Traditional blacksmithing skills are complemented by modern metal working methods and state of the art equipment that enable Keith to craft unique works of art that feature novel designs that are only limited by his imagination.

Keith collaborates with other artists who specialise in different materials. This synergy has led to successful projects such as the award-winning Steampunk clock.
